Methodology & data limitations
Ceird AI is an information service. It presents what the underlying research supports and clearly states what it does not.
Where the data comes from
Wage figures, licensing guidance, training and apprenticeship records are drawn from public sources including federal wage statistics, state workforce directories and official licensing authorities. Every record keeps its source reference and verification date.
What 'publishable' means
A record is shown to the public only when an explicit publication-readiness decision marks it publishable. Records that are incomplete, out of scope, historical or unverified are withheld from public pages entirely.
Dates are kept separate
The data period, the date a source was verified, the date an application status was checked and the publication audit date are all distinct. None of them is replaced with an import date.
What it does not cover
Coverage is honest, not exhaustive. Not every state has a verified current training listing for every trade, and licensing guidance can miss local or municipal rules. Absence of a record is not evidence that nothing exists.
Important
- Wage percentiles are population wage percentiles, not promised starting wages.
- A registered apprenticeship is not a confirmed open position unless the status says so.
- Conditional or workforce funding is not guaranteed funding for a specific program.
- “No general occupational license identified” is not proof that no requirement applies.
- Always confirm requirements with the responsible licensing authority before relying on them.
